Learn Hindi To Speak – videos and other resources.

Hi Jillian here,

I hope this page can give you some pointers in the right direction for starting to learn to speak in Hindi.
I intend to fill it with resources for you, so be patient and visit the site often for my updates you never know what you might end up learning.

My Favorite Hindi Course
If you want a much quicker way to learn Hindi through English than I can give you at present, please visit Rocket Hindi. This is my favorite programme and it is how I ended up learning after many trial and error Hindi lessons. I think it’s a great value when you compare it to other Hindi learning programmes. (I’m pretty certain it’s less than $70, which is a bargain compared to Rosetta Stone.)

During each of the lessons I could record my voice and get feedback on my pronunciation, which was great. There are also vocabulary games and quite a few other components that made it fun to work with the programme. I really began to learn Hindi fast once I got past the first few lessons. Of course, to really become fluent, spending time in India speaking with native speakers is needed. But to get comfortable joining in conversations, this course is perfect. It helped me get to a point where I could understand and reply to people without feeling so nervous! Click Here for a link to their website.

And now, a video for you about the different dialects of Hindi . . .
(This is my very first attempt at video making!)

Okay, It’s not much I know, but what a tune and what a combination of instruments and cultures, plus if it gets that one ‘Dialects’ message across then it’s worked!

I will be adding more Hindi classes plus some incredible shots of India in the very near future so stay with me.

See you back here soon.

Warm Regards Jillian.
